Heather Wright is a mom, baker, and owner of Springerle Emporium. Her grandmother taught her to bake at a young age, and to “cook by instinct” as Gramma never wrote things down. In her teens Heather was decorating birthday and wedding cakes. She first learned how to make springerle cookies 18 years ago from a Swiss chef, and was instantly hooked. Watching the cookie mold lifted off the dough to reveal the imprinted treasure underneath—magic! Since then, she has baked, experimented, developed her own recipes, and researched the centuries-old history of this edible art, and loves to share the joy of springerle with others through teaching.  https://www.springerleemp.com/
