How does a bookworm teach dance, well, he steps outs of his comfort zone and moves! Steele’s mother invited him to his first Line Dance class 25 years ago and though he preferred Rock and Roll to Country, he has never looked back. This Navy veteran believes that dancing encourages people to overcome their shyness. He was able to pick up the dance steps pretty easily and had a natural ability to teach others especially the men in the back of the dance floor. Eventually, he was encouraged to formally teach dancing and the rest is history. He joined Assabet After Dark in the Spring of 2012 and has been teaching a variety of dance classes such as Two Step, Salsa, Swing, and Ballroom Dancing, along with a few technology classes. This man has talent!
