Bonnie Greenwood, PharmD, BCPS has been an instructor at Assabet After Dark since 2013. Dr. Greenwood is Clinical Program Director at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Clinical Pharmacy Services and also is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University.
Dr. Greenwood has a particular focus on optimizing medication utilization and has published on quality improvement efforts related to hepatitis C virus, insulin, and aminoglycosides. Her work contributes to the understanding of medication uptake patterns and clinical outcomes in order to ensure equitable access to these therapies for all patients. She also is the lead pharmacist with Team Heart, a non-profit medical organization working in partnership with the Rwandan Ministry of Health to establish sustainable cardiac care in Rwanda.
Prior to joining UMass Medical School, Dr. Greenwood worked at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. In this role she gained experience in clinical research, project management, quality improvement, and professional education.
Dr. Greenwood is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and member of three professional pharmacy organizations. In 2017, she became a Member of Honor of the Rwanda Hospital Pharmacists Society. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University.
