Hossam Elsayyad earned a Ph.D. in the UK that focused on cognitive and linguistic studies of students’ language learning. He has extensive experience in teaching English as a Second Language with children and adults in the United States and overseas, in addition to mentoring student teachers in training, as well as supervising teachers in service. Dr. Elsayyad is also an expert at developing engaging curricula, lessons and materials that are differentiated to respect the needs of a range of learners. His principal area of interest, as well as academic research, has been in the areas of bilingual literacy, and Cognitive skills. Dr. Elsayyad has published papers on cognitive and linguistic skills of children’s language learning in international journals. He currently works as a full time ESL teacher in Worcester Public Schools.
