Dear Student:

Thank you for inquiring about our Spring 2009 Esthetics class scheduled to begin on Monday, March 2, 2009 . Classes meet 4 evenings per week, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM. This is a 300-hour course. Anticipated date of completion is July 22, 2009.

Assabet’s reputation for quality cosmetology, esthetics, and manicuring instruction is second to none. We have a near 100% passing rate for students taking the state board exams. In addition, Assabet has been able to place nearly everyone who wishes to work after graduation. At Assabet you’ll get plenty of hands on clinic experience, plus hear guest speakers, see product demonstrations and become a confident and experienced Esthetician. Above everything else, you’ll have instructors who take a personal interest in you as an individual with individual needs.

If you compare Assabet’s esthetics program to other schools you will discover that dollar for dollar you will get a better education at Assabet than at any other school. For the Spring 2009 Esthetics program the total cost will be $2,995 (Application fee: $250, Tuition: 2395, Kit and texts: $350) Students are responsible for purchasing a white shirt, white pants, white professional shoes (clean white leather sneakers are acceptable), and a white lab coat.

To be admitted to the Esthetics program you must mail to us:

1. Your completed, signed Admissions Application Form
2. Your $250 Application Fee. This $250 payment will be applied toward your total cost ($2,995), It is not an additional fee.
   
   Note: The $250 Application Fee consists of two parts:
   
   ♦ $150 non-refundable fee (non-refundable under any circumstances).
   ♦ $100 first installment payment (Note: this $100 fee is refundable only if you withdraw before the withdrawal deadline of February 16, 2009. Important: After the withdrawal deadline has passed, the entire $250 Application Fee is forfeited.)
   
   
3. Your completed signed copy of the Payment Plan Contract & Withdrawal/Refund Policy Agreement. There are two different payment plans available. Please read each of these payment options carefully and check which payment plan you will use.

Option A: Pay the entire tuition and fees by February 23, 2009 and receive a 10% discount of $300. Total cost will be $2,695. (After you have paid your $250 Application fee, your balance will be $2,445.)

Option B: You may elect to make the minimum payment of $1,750 by February 23, 2009 and pay the $1,245 balance in nine weekly payments of $140.00. (*After you have paid your $250 Application fee, you will need to pay an additional $1,500 by February 23, 2009)

Because of the short length of the Esthetics program, students are not eligible to apply for federal financial aid.
